Master and doctoral candidates are expected to follow academic form and style when preparing a thesis or dissertation. The Turabian or Chicago Format is preferred. Emphasis is placed on the quality of work, rather than on the number of pages. Prior to beginning work on the thesis or dissertation, the student is required to submit a written proposal to his/her academic advisor. Once the proposal has been accepted, the student may proceed with the work.
