Shepperton University was founded to fulfill the educational needs of professional and working adults who wish to expand their formal education within their field of expertise. In addition to recognizing prior learning, we offer a fresh and unique approach to traditional subject matter. There are no “on campus” requirements, and course work is completed entirely through correspondence. We have an open-enrollment policy, which allows students to enroll with Shepperton at any time throughout the year. Our degree programs are designed for self-directed students, and the content of each program is cross-functional, with a strong emphasis on information technology, global issues and teamwork.

Shepperton University is recognized by the European Committee for Home and Online Education (ECHOE). ECHOE is a global distance learning advocate association, that promotes institutional self improvement and ensures academic quality by its members in their quest for excelence.

Our founder was Major Richard De Beaumont Beamish, a barrister, who was educated in Cambridge. Our current president John McCullegh, holds a doctoral degree in Education, and has over twenty years experience as a college president. Overall, Dr. McCullegh has nearly forty years in education, thirty in higher education.

We also appreciate that working adults have many financial obligations. With this consideration, we offer our students a No Interest Installment Plan Option, for those individuals who may prefer having that option.
